almost ready to move

here are a few pics of the kitchen. Kim made the island out of cherry.. it's almost 2 inches thick, that he has been storing forever in his shop. I'll let him explain later. The cabinets are made out of the same cherry with dyed maple panels. (you can see my piano in the distance).

We've been doing things that one cannot photograph well..... electrical wiring, ductwork, plumbing. Yesterday they started sheet rocking

raising the ceilings

Kim has pretty much taken out and rebuilt the framing.. He leveled the floors, created hallways, closets and most importantly higher ceilings.

I am anxious to see what pops up. I saw surprise lilies, daffodils, crocuses. It is far better than the coat of snow.
